Concessões verdes, agenda ASG e seus impactos positivos

Abstract

This paper aims to discuss the potential positive impacts of the concession of green spaces in Brazil. In order to do so, it offers an overview on the interaction between the State and the private sector on an incentive-regulation model. Then, a historic view on the environment protection granted by the Brazilian law in presented, specifically in relation to green spaces, its insertion in the ESG agenda and in public-private partnerships. A discussion on the positive impacts generated by such concession projects follows, shedding light on social and environmental agenda and the attraction of new players interested in investing in the sector.
