A "filmoteca do BNDES": ação e interação com os usuários

Abstract

O Banco Nacional de Desenvolvimento Econômico e Social – BNDES é o principal instrumento de apoio financeiro para a realização de investimentos em diversos setores da Economia, dentre eles, o setor cultural. Neste âmbito, destaca-se no subsídio à produção audiovisual brasileira, fornecendo apoio financeiro à produção de filmes nacionais, que costumam se destacar nos cinemas brasileiros e em festivais nacionais e internacionais. A Biblioteca do BNDES vê nessas obras a oportunidade de exercer as funções de memória institucional e difusão cultural. A partir do tratamento técnico e armazenamento desses vídeos, exerce o papel de lugar de memória institucional e, disponibilizando os filmes ao corpo funcional do Banco, atua como agente cultural, aproximando-se do usuário, oferecendo uma opção de cultura aos funcionários e seus familiares, e apresentando a eles uma oportunidade de ver o trabalho do BNDES concretizado, sob a forma de um filme.

The Brazilian Social and Economic Development Bank – BNDES is the main instrument of financial support for investment in various sectors of the economy, including the cultural sector. In this context, it detachs in the subsidy to brazilian audiovisual production, providing financial support to the production of national films, which tend to stand out in brazilian cinemas and on national and international festivals. The Library of BNDES see on those films the opportunity to serve as institutional memory and cultural diffusion. From the technical processing and storage of these videos, plays the role of institutional memory and providing those movies to the functional body of the Bank, the Library acts as a cultural agent, approaching the user, offering a choice of culture for him and his family and presenting them a chance to see the work accomplished by BNDES, in the form of a film.
