Abstract:	The purpose of this article is to present the Global Compact of the United Nations (UN) and its correlation with the sustainable development agenda. For this purpose, the ten Global Compact principles as well the 17 sustainable development goals (SDG) advocated by the UN will be discussed, and also the environmental, social and governance (ESG) principles, which increasingly attract the public and private sectors attention.
