Conceitos e metodologias de avaliação aplicáveis ao financiamento de exportações de serviços

Abstract

The goal of this paper is to describe the basic elements in the field of public policy evaluation, presenting the main concepts and estimation methods compatible with the hypotheses/situations to be assessed. In addition, the paper discusses how these methods can be applied in the prospective effectiveness/impact evaluations of the export credit support provided by BNDES under its Exim Post-shipment Services financing. This is the first part of an ongoing process of internal evaluation of the impacts and results of the Bank's export credit support.
